1. Acceptance
By using this website, requesting a quote, booking cargo, submitting documents, or paying an invoice, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the policies linked in the footer. If you act for a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
2. Services and quotations
Ivadell Shipping Inc. provides cargo, freight, handling, storage, documentation, tracking, and related logistics services. Quotes and availability depend on the information supplied, cargo inspection, route, dimensions, weight, commodity, carrier capacity, customs requirements, and applicable tariff. A quote is not a guarantee of sailing or delivery time.
3. Prices and payment
Customers must pay the amount and currency shown on the invoice or checkout page by the stated due date. Unless expressly stated otherwise, published tariff rates are in U.S. dollars. Customs duties, taxes, port assessments, storage, demurrage, inspections, delivery, and third-party charges may be additional. A payment is not final until confirmed by the payment provider and Ivadell Shipping Inc.
4. Customer responsibilities
- Provide complete and accurate names, contacts, cargo descriptions, values, invoices, titles, permits, and other required documents.
- Package and label cargo safely and identify fragile, hazardous, temperature-sensitive, oversized, or restricted items before acceptance.
- Comply with customs, sanctions, export, import, port, safety, and carrier requirements.
- Pay duties, taxes, storage, demurrage, delivery, and other applicable charges.
- Collect cargo or arrange delivery within the notified time.
5. Prohibited cargo
Customers must not tender unlawful, stolen, dangerous, sanctioned, falsely described, improperly packaged, or prohibited cargo. Hazardous materials, firearms, ammunition, chemicals, perishables, high-value goods, vehicles, and regulated items may require advance written approval and special documents. Ivadell Shipping Inc. may refuse, hold, return, or report cargo where required for safety or legal compliance.
6. Schedules, customs, and delays
Sailing, arrival, customs release, pickup, and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Weather, port congestion, carrier changes, customs review, inspections, documentation problems, mechanical issues, force majeure, and events outside reasonable control may cause delay.
7. Cargo condition, insurance, and claims
Customers should inspect cargo promptly at release and report visible loss or damage before leaving the facility where practical. Other claims should be reported promptly with the booking or bill of lading number, photographs, receipts, and supporting records. Cargo insurance is not automatically included unless expressly confirmed in writing. Any carrier liability is governed by the applicable bill of lading, tariff, mandatory law, and purchased insurance.
8. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Eligibility depends on the work completed and costs already incurred.
9. Website and account use
You must not misuse the website, interfere with security, upload malicious content, impersonate another person, or attempt unauthorized access. Tracking information is provided for convenience and may be updated as operational information becomes available.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Applicable law and non-waivable rights
These terms are subject to the laws, maritime rules, tariffs, and transport requirements applicable to the contracting entity, route, cargo, and transaction. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or customer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where non-waivable, or mandatory consumer law.
